Hello, I bought a (National Power - 8-to-PCI Express 2.0 Pin Cable - 6 ")

the configuration of my PC can be found:

nForce 780i motherboard
2 GB of RAM

My question is: Since this power is not power connector 8-pin PCI-Express has
the 2x molex to 8-pin PCI-Express 2.0 cable that my insurance card and not fried? I do not want to spend on another 100bucks into a new power supply
