How do i lower the fat in a duncan hines cake mix? - duncan cake

I have a Duncan Hines Strawberry Supreme cake mix, I want to change, but need help. Original recipe is 1 1 / 3 c water, 1 / 3 c vegetable oil 3 eggs, but he would prefer to use egg whites. Ideas? I read somewhere that you can replace one whole egg 2 egg whites, but I'm not sure.
